The Bikaner city is the biggest city in the Thar desert. The Desert national Park of Jaiselmer shows the extreme conditions in which an eco-system can operate in a maintained way.

Day 1: Jaipur


Upon arrival at Jaipur Airport/Railway station you will be transfer to your hotel. This afternoon you will tour the city of Jaipur visit the City Palace, an overwhelming complex of exquisite palaces, gardens and courtyards. Walk to the adjacent Jantarmantar an astronomical observatory built in 17th century. Lastly you will drive past the Hawa Mahal, a Palace of winds. Overnight at Jaipur.

Day 2: Jaipur

This morning visit Amer fort an ancient capital of Jaipur, you will see magnificent palaces with walls covered with mirrored mosaics. Enjoy an elephant ride at the Amer fort. Rest of the day is at leisure for shopping and own activities, overnight at Jaipur.

Day 3: Jaipur – Bikaner (321kms / 7-8hrs)

Today early morning you will drive to the imposing walled city of Bikaner, Enroute you will visit holy town of Pushkar. Arrive and proceed to your hotel, rest of the day is at leisure, overnight at Bikaner.

Day 4: Bikaner

Today afternoon you will visit the unusual Junagarh Fort; only fort in Rajasthan built on the desert plains itself , lastly visit the National Camel Breeding Farm and see the incredible sight of a herd of camels returning back after grazing, with the spectacular desert sunset in the background. Overnight at Bikaner.

Day 5: Bikaner – Jaisalmer (335kms/ 7-8hrs)

This morning you will drive to Deshnok, to visit the Karni Mata Mandir. Later you will drive to the Golden city of Jaisalmer. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Jaisalmer.

Day 6: Jaisalmer

Morning visit to the Jaisalmer fort, only fort in India which has a population of thousand people living within its walls, later visit to the countless havelis spread across Jaisalmer which are reputed as the city’s real showpieces. Late evening you will visit the Sand Dunes to witness a spectacular sunset over the sand dunes, overnight at Jaisalmer.

Day 7: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (285 kms / 7 hrs)

Today you will be transferred by road to the Sun City of Jodhpur. After noon you will visit the imposing Mehrangarh fort, proceed to the Jaswant Thada, the royal cenotaphs in white marble built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh, overnight at Jodhpur.

Day 8: Jodhpur – Udaipur (290kms/ 8-9hrs)

Today you will drive to Udaipur enroute stopping at Ranakpur, a famous Jain pilgrimage destination known for its exquisitely carved Jain temples and most famous hall of 1444 pillars. Arrive and proceed to your hotel, Rest of the day is at leisure, overnight Udaipur.

Day 9: Udaipur

This morning proceed for a sightseeing tour of Udaipur visit to the City palace and museum, proceed to Jagdish temple and lastly visit the Sahelion Ki Bari “Gardens of the Maidens”. Rest of the day is at leisure for shopping and individual activities, overnight at Udaipur.

Today you will depart Udaipur for your onward journey back home.
