Jim corbett national Park is the oldest Tiger reserve in india, established in 1936 as hailey national park for the conservation of endangered Benagal Tiger. The park comes under uttrakhand’s nainital District and the nearest city is Ramnagar. Corbett park has always been on top of the Tourists and wildlife lover’s for a long period. Although the park is covered with high security but it also gives many opportunity to visitors to spot the Royal bengal tiger by enjoying Jeep safari in the Zone.

Geographically , the park is located partly along with the valley between the beautiful lesser himalayas in the north and shivalik mountains in the South.This place is also very significant for the research of Rocks and Mountains as many disposition occurred here.

Spread over 520 square Kilometers where more than 500 species of flora and fauna  are found. Night stay is also available and provided by the Government inside the Zone. Although the accommodation is not very much appreciated but you can enjoy as per your requirements. outside the Zone Many Budget to Premium resorts are available for the stay. Jim corbett national park is divided into Five Zones. Dhikala, Bijranai, Jhirna , Dhela, Duradevi. Duirga Devi and Bijrani opens after 15-octover every year and remains open till june, while dhikala opens after 15-Nov every year and remains open till june. Except this Dhela ( a Newly opened Zone ) and jhirna Remains open through out the year.

So tourists can enjoy Jeep safari, Canter safari ( dhikala Zone ), elephant Safari, bird watching, nature walk,  Adventures activities( Rock climbing,Rappelling , Flying fox etc ) in the park.
